It's been a week filled with work, homework, celebrations, and more. It's crazy how so much can happen in one week; one would think a couple weeks have passed! Last Saturday, my family and I attended a wedding; it wasn't the "usual type" of wedding. The ceremony and reception were of the "usual type", but the bride and groom were both near 50 and being wedded for the first time. My pastor called it the "Wedding of the Millennium;" it was a lot of fun, and one could feel the joy and excitement in the air! On Sunday, we celebrated my dad's birthday. The posted picture was taken after church in celebration of his day. He seemed to have a special day with many visitors, telephone calls, cards, gifts, and even cake! He appeared to be feeling pretty good, well enough to enjoy everything. It was back to work on Monday, and work started with a bang. I had to sit through a 2 1/2 hour school board meeting Monday morning/afternoon. It's not so bad sitting through the meeting, but writing the article is a different story... no pun intended. Wednesday was class, and Thursday evening was Bible study. I have one more class on May 2... then my semester is complete! It's been a good semester! It's been a quiet weekend now; everyone is recuperating from a couple busy weeks. Hope all is doing well!Signing off for now... stay tuned for the next latest adventures of "Where in the world is Carma?"
